Competitive Obedience
Class Description:
People enrolling their dogs in this class are preparing to compete in obedience competitions.

People are taught:
- advanced training techniques
- obedience competition rules and regulations
Dogs learn:
- Beginning exercises - heeling, stand for exam, recall, stays
- Open exercises - off-lead heeling, retrieving, jumping, out-of-sight stays
- Utility exercises - signals, scent discrimination, directed jumping
Prerequisites:
For enrollment in Competitive Obedience class, you and your dog must show proficiency in the material and behaviors covered in either basic obedience class or Canine Good Citizen class.
